My memories of Alice go back to our high school days when we were both in the school band. She was at times seen with my sister Wendy. I enjoyed watching them when I was a kid for they both admired the same boy friend ! Alice was always part of every town parade, riding high on a horse but our high school band leader would rather have seen Alice marching with us in the band. Our best memories are with Alice at all the family gatherings with Scott, Marlene and Morgan at their home on Hancock Street. We will very much miss Alice and our prayers will always be with you.

Dear Scott, So sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Your grandmother was my favorite aunt and when she passed away I spent time with Alice sorting through her things and helping her organize. She very graciously gave me my mother's childrens chair which is one of my cherished items in my home. I know your sadness as my dad, Reg, passed away recently also. Hopefully time will allow you to heal and enjoy all the memories you have shared.

Scott, Mom and I go back before Jr. HIgh School when we were in 4-H together and would stop at your house to get a snack before we headed back to Linwood St., thru the park -- and your Grandfather always being there warning us to be careful -- he didn't know we were invincible!!! We swam our horses out to the island and slept overnight. We rode to Hanover to shows, we rode to E. Bridgewater, Pembroke -- our horses were our wheels - then we got to High School still riding but other interests seem to get in the way. A couple of years ago we reconnected -- two Sr. Citizen's and still loving and having our horses - I was the lucky one!, I can still ride. I will ride tomorrow for both of us!! My sympathy to you and your family, Scott -- your wonderful memories will get you thru this time and those we never lose. Lurane

Scott, Marlene and Morgan, I'm so sorry that I only just found out about Alice's passing and was, therefore, unable to attend her wake and services. My deepest sympathy to each of you for your loss. I will very much miss her ready smile, her sense of humor and her dedication to her family, friends, and community. May she rest in well-deserved peace. Pat Mullin

Scott, Marlene & Morgan- Our deepest sympathies to you. Alice and my mom Ellen (Blair) Stanbrook were not only first cousins but best friends. As I child , my mom would spend hours talking on the phone with Alice. A few years ago, Alice indulged my family genealogy quest and took me on a tour of the family cemetery in Holbrook. She then treated me to a great lunch at a local favorite restaurant. I have some pictures that I would love to email to you. I am sorry that we could not attend tonight. fondly, Eileen
