Alfred A. Giannotti Sr., 90 of Rockland, died on March 16, 2016 at his home in Rockland. He was born in Braintree son of the late Ettore, and Louise (Giovannini) Giannotti Sr., and was raised and educated in South Boston.

Alfred worked for 25 years as a welder for the Wharf Forging and Welding Company. He also worked for the Rockland Highway Department for over 15 years. Mr. Giannotti enjoyed golf, cribbage, bowling and fishing.

Alfred was the Father of Alfred Giannotti Jr. of Rockland. Brother of Joseph Giannotti of FL, and Rosemary McKinnon of Marshfield. Grandfather of Kathleen Giannotti of Rockland, and Marcus Giannotti of Hanson.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 11:00 in the Holy Family Cemetery in Rockland. The Magoun-Biggins Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family with arrangements.
