A limb has fallen from the family tree. I hear you saying, “Don’t grieve for me. Remember the best times, the laughter the songs. The good life I had when I was still strong. Riding motorcycles with Billy, my brother. All the trouble we gave our father and mother. Great parties with neighbors on Robert Post Road, Our children were schoolmates, some friends until old. The camping, fishing, great times spent with friends. When we’re young; we don’t think of when those will end. All the joys and the sorrows that families collect, Lived over and over, when there’s time to reflect. If my actions or words have caused anyone pain, Please know that I’m sorry; and forgive if you can. Your jobs, your possessions matter not at the end. Care more for each other, your family and friends. It’s the people who loved you and made life worthwhile, So many good memories, each one makes me smile. Looking back at my life; I truly was blessed. My mind, my body and my soul are at rest, My struggles are over, so for me please be glad. Cause I’m home with my sister, Billy, mom and our dad. Through the bright light; they were waiting for me. When it’s time, I will wait, for the limbs on our tree.
