Obituary For Mary Tallent

Mary A. Tallent passed away on Friday January 1st, 2021 at Bringhams and Women's Hospital in Boston Massachusetts at the age of 84. Mary was born and raised in South Boston Massachusetts. She is the daughter of the late Charles and Vincenza Megna of Norfolk Massachusetts. After her 1959 marriage to Martin A Tallent, Mary resided in Dorchester Massachusetts. In 1992 Mary and her family relocated to Abington Massachusetts. Mary Also had two siblings, the late Vincent Megna of Dedham Massachusetts and the late Jean Gibson of Franklin Massachusetts. Mary is survived by her loving Husband Martin A. Tallent of Abington Mass as well as her two sons John M. Tallent and Paul J. Tallent both of who also reside in Abington Massachusetts. Mary is also survived by 3 loving grandchildren and many people who loved and adored her.

    So sorry for your loss John, Paul and Marty. I remember spending many evening hanging out with friends in your living room in Dorchester especially on holidays. Mary was always welcoming to us no matter how many showed up.

    Marty, John and Paul, and the grandkids, Joey, Danny and Emily: I know your hearts are broke as is mine. Mary was one of a kind, the truest of friends, honest, the hostess with the mostest. There wasn't anything she would not do for a friend. Always welcoming to anyone who stopped by. We will all miss her terribly! Now she is with God in Heaven.     To Mary's family,
    I knew Mary from the VFW playing Shuffle Board. She was a remarkable lady, with a great sense of humor and always had a smile on her face which always made everyone else smile and laugh. We will have many memories when we think of her and I hope you will too.
