Obituary For Krysta Lee Doherty

Krysta Lee Doherty began her journey to heaven on December 12, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. She was only 19 years old. She was known by her family and friends to be loving, caring, smart, beautiful, goofy, ambitious, and ready for anything. While Krysta was finishing up her senior year at Rockland High School she would work at her local pizzeria and began her passion of working with children at the Rockland daycare.

Upon graduating RHS in 2019 she would make more time to spend with the children which she would lovingly refer to as her "little nuggets". Krysta studied early education in the hopes of one day running her own daycare facility. Krysta loved spending time with her family especially when April came around and they would all head to Walt Disney World that left her family with amazing memories they will treasure forever. Her friends played a big role in her life. They loved going to concerts together, and enjoying their favorite band One Direction. You could always hear them playing them from her car or bedroom.

"Princess" is what Krysta was always called by her family and it all started with her loving dad. We will always miss our little princess everyday. Krysta is survived by her parents Sharon and Michael, and her brothers Mikey and Justin, her grandparents Linda Corrigan, Joan Doherty and Richard Doherty, her furbabies Teddy and Ranger, and many loving aunties and uncles and lots of cousins

In leiu of flowers, donations may be made to The Make a Wish Foundation in Krysta's name.
