Obituary For Christopher J Keene

Christopher J. Keene born January 23rd, 1969 passed away peacefully on March 29th, 2022, surrounded by loved ones through his illness. He is remembered for his strength, determination, Integrity, and his contribution to serving in the United States Army. He was passionate in his beliefs and had a drive to preserve and protect his family and friends. He is pre-deceased by his grandparents Mary and Bob Keene, and Lawrence and Olive O’Brien, and his father John “Jack” Keene. He is survived by his children Brian, Jess, Alena, and Jack Keene, their mother Laurie Keene, His mother Gail Keene, siblings David and wife Danielle Keene, Kevin Keene and fiancé Kelly White, Faith Keene and Partner Glenn Vitorino; his nieces Amya, Vivian, Kalie, and nephew Aiden, as well as his many very loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. There will be a funeral mass to celebrate Chris’ life on April 6th, 2022 at 11AM at St. Joseph The Worker Church, Holy Apostles’ Parish at 1 Maquan st., Hanson, MA 02341. There will be a burial service planned for a later date at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Buzzards Bay, MA. Chris’ family asks that in lieu of flowers donations may be made to one or more of the following charities: St. Vincent DePaul SocietyHanson Food PantryNVNA Hospice NorwellDog Tag BuddiesAmerican Cancer Society

    I served with Chris in E 5/8 Infantry in Germany '88-'90. For part of that time we roomed together and were assigned to the same vehicle. He was a solid guy and a good friend. Eric Sparks
