Obituary For Christine Royal

We say goodbye to our beloved sister, Christine Royal, 58, of Rockland, MA, with very heavy hearts. Chris passed away in the early hours of the morning on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.

Chris is now back in the loving arms of her Incredible Mom, Geraldine Royal, who left us 22 years ago, and her dad, Robert Royal, who left us 11 years ago.

Chris is now resting comfortably in her mother’s arms in heaven: free of her pain and illnesses. She will be greatly missed by her grateful and loving family, who were blessed to have shared their lives with her, and patiently await the time when all will be united once again as one big happy family in heaven.

Chris graduate from Brockton High School and Ailano School of Cosmetology. She also graduated from Wella Professional as a Master Color Expert.

Chris was blessed to be a hairstylist and owner, where she carried on the family legacy. She loved her clients, and many of them became friends and family to her. Many of her friends remembered Chris as a beautiful person and loved her laugh. Chris will surely be missed; she touched many people in her life.

Chris will be greatly missed by her brother Edward Royal, sister Shelly Malloy and husband, Brendon. She was also a loving Aunt to Ashley and Ariana Malloy and a cherished friend to many.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Chris Royal will be planned for the late spring-early summer.

In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in memory of Christine Royal to support cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284 or via www.jimmyfund.org/gift.

Chris's family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate her life to be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 4:00 PM at Knights of Columbus, 440 Webster St, Rockland Mass

So sorry for your loss. As a former salon owner in Rockland, our paths only crossed professionally. I remember Chris as hard working, helpful and dedicated to community. We sure did have fun, along with Gerry and other "hairdressers " at many hair shows and other gatherings back in the day. My deepest condolences, Kathy OKeefe, His and Hers Hair Design.

I'm still in shock. Chris was my hairdresser and friend. We shared talks about our cancers and when I was really Ill she would come to my house knowing that having my hair done would make me feel better. She was one very special person and will be sorely missed. RIP dear friend your in the arms of the angels.

My sincerest condolences to Chris' family and friends. Chris cut my mom's hair for many years and so did Gerry. My mom was very frail in her final years and Chris took such care with her. Chris had a true heart of gold...hairdresser often learn so much about their clients as they chat and catch up. My mom would tell Chris about our family and some losses. My mom once found out that Chris left some flowers at my Dad's gravesite. She was truly special. May Chris Rest In Peace.
